RIFLE & PISTOL
TACTICAL COURSE
2027
The Target Down Group Rifle & Pistol Tactical Course takes responsible, armed citizens beyond defensive fundamentals and into close-quarters application. Through structured instruction and progressive live-fire training, you learn to apply those skills in confined spaces and dynamic environments. Training covers room entry, close-quarters battle (CQB) principles, working corners and doorways, and using points of domination to control angles and gain positional advantage. Throughout, the course emphasizes accuracy, accountability, and sound decision-making under pressure.
Available in daytime and day-to-night formats, the course also addresses the challenges of reduced visibility, including weapon-mounted white-light use, target identification, and safe firearm handling as lighting changes. Students receive instructor feedback throughout to identify strengths, correct deficiencies, and set clear goals for continued development. Whether you are sharpening existing skills or preparing to take your training to the next level, you will leave with practical lessons and a focused path for continued training.
